Die europäische Kulturhauptstadt als kosmopolitische Blase, als (Kunst-)Planet im Realismussystem, als autarke Stadt in der Stadt.
Die historisch bedingte interkulturelle Wirklichkeit lässt das Potenzial einer unbedingten multinationalen Interaktion erahnen. Die Dimension des des Raumes verändert sich: Die Wirklichkeit der Parallelwelt wird zur Plastik, zur Drehbühne, die perspektivisch erweitert wird, heran- oder herausgezoomt, mikroskopiert oder verzerrt.
Unbedingtheit als ästhetische-politische-gesellschaftliches Erkenntnissprungbrett.
Die europäische Kulturhauptstadt als der Ort, an dem nichts außer Frage steht.
In the year 2024, Austria will be hosting the title of the European capital of culture again. What should be the role of ECoC today and in the future?
This was a collaborative project with students from all over Austria.
