The 2nd World Non-Congress of Missing Things

On the 11th of November 2014, the Satellite Rosetta finally landed, after flying through space for years. 11 days later, on the 23rd of November. Rosetta landed in Aspern.

A satellite stands for pioneer spirit.

The new city Seestadt between Vienna and Bratislava should become a sustainable, seat city on all levels: the economical, ecological and also on the social level.

In this sense, in each new constructed building, there are two appartements planned for asylum seekers. Furthermore apartments are reserve for queer asylum seekers. This project is based on the idea of the assembly que[e] rbau.

For the 2nd World Non-Congress of Missing Things we collaborated with que[e] rbau on a public space intervention, that would be representing their community housing project while it was in a process of building.

The installation was inspired by Beatriz Preciado´s concept of contra-sexual manifesto.
