“ORTung” is an initiative of the state of Salzburg for contemporary art, whose origin is based on two essential concerns: It follows the decentralization claim of contemporary art from the centers into new, peripheral everyday and life structures, as well as the artistic exchange between the invited artists. “ORTung” should be an impulse-giving initiative in rural areas, which contributes to the anchoring of contemporary art (visual arts, media art, literature, music, etc.) in the regions outside the state capital.

With Katharina Schaar we produced a short abstract documentary with the title „Powder“ which documents the state of exception in Hintersee due to the amount of snow that fell in the time of our residency there.
